Explanatory blog for the avatar-

Since the company is called ‘KRAZY ABOUT CARS’ we decided to start off with something that matches the very initial description, i.e, obviously, a car.

We chose a light blue background for the avatar to settle in to give it a cool atmosphere. The colour blue also shows trustworthiness and reliability which is also a USP of our company. The avatar was created using digital art on the application ’Picsart’.

After the background was all set we decided to move on to the main focus of the avatar- the car. The colour contrasting with our background which is ‘light blue’ and the virtues of our company was ‘white’. We used normal shape tools to draw trapeziums in order to create the front glass and the bonnet of the car. The front most part of the car was made using the rectangle tool adjusted with the length of the trapezium. The lowermost end of the car was also made using the rectangle shape tool being thinned to give it a shape of a line.

Then it was the turn to make the wheels of the car. Since we had decided to show the front view, only two front wheels should’ve been visible. An inverted ‘trapezium’ shape tool was used to create the front wheels using the white colour only. To give the car a more comic look, it was decided to leave gaps in between different parts of the car. Using the same, we created the rear view mirrors on both sides of the car. They were made using simple circle shaped tool transformed into ovals.

After the basic layout was made it was time to add details to the avatar. The foremost detail was the front glass of the car. We used an even lighter shade of blue to make the glass since we wanted to differentiate it from the background.

The next detail was the front bumper of the car for which we used a light grey colour and a circle tool thinned out to make an oval. It was detailed further to give it the shape of a bumper. Dark grey lines were added on it to detail. On both sides of the bumper lights were added. The lights were made using shades of concentric yellow circles.

We then drew a hand coming out of the front window of the car throwing a pink scarf out into the air. The pink colour of the scarf shows liberty, vibrancy and is also very catchy to the eye. A light pink detail was lso added to the scarf to give it a highlighted look.

Reflecting lines were made on the mirror.

To give the car a more personified look, cartoon black eyes were added on the front glass.

To add more detail to the whole picture, two clouds were added on top of the car again to show liberty.

Finally, the text ‘KRAZY ABOUT CARS’ was added on the bonnet of the car. The font used is a very casual and fun font to show justice to the title.
